We wanted to walk through information related to Hydrofacials including the basics, benefits, risks, cost, skin types, and much more!
Hydrofacials use water to create glowing and dewy skin by cleansing and hydrating deep in the facial pores. They are painless, effective on most skin types, and they renew and rejuvenate your skin. Which instantly leads to a stunning and glowing complexion!
Hydrofacials or Hydrodermabrasion pack a punch and is the latest in skin care. Hydrafacials are also another type of Hydrofacials. We use specialized tools, water, and serums to bring back radiance. Hydrofacials are a gentler and kinder alternative to dermabrasion. There are no needles or razors involved in this type of facial. They effectively deep clean your skin and pores to remove build up and provide intense hydration that addresses individual skin concerns and leaves your skin glowing. The procedure is most commonly used on the face, but necks and backs can also be targeted. It is performed by our highly trained aesthetician who uses a medical grade hydrodermabrasion device, which is clinically proven to penetrate deeper than traditional facials.
Hydrofacials increase blood circulation, thus promoting collagen production and elastin fibers, which tighten skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines. The various growth factors in our products restore your skin’s health, maintain a stronger skin structure, promote growth of healthy skin cells, and preserve regular skin function. Your skin will be plumped, brightened, moisturized, and revitalized. You will love the results of a youthful, glowing complexion.

Hydrofacials are painless and are clinically proven to improve the appearance of your complexion. They are effective for clogged pores, acne, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation. Hydrodermabrasion leaves your skin healthier and feeling smoother, brighter, and more hydrated.
Depending on age and other factors, our skin regenerates about every 27 days. Facials can help support healthy skin.

Who is Empower Health Spa
Hydrafacial is now clinically reported to improve acne skin concerns. In a
new clinical study on hydrofacials, it was discovered that 100 percent of participants found acne related skin conditions improved significantly with Hydrofacial clarifying treatments!!! They reported “fewer acne lesions and cleaner more radiant looking skin.” All the participants had the facial regime over a 12-week period with 6 sessions. The effectiveness of this type of facial was evident in all involved, who are suffering from acne vulgaris. The confidence levels of all the participants were increased from 40% to 100% by the end of the series of treatments!
The procedure will occur in the privacy of one of our spa’s therapy rooms. Our trained aesthetician will cleanse your face to remove makeup and oils. Once exfoliated, gentle acid peel will be applied to remove additional dirt and oils in your skin. This mild peel should not cause irritation as it is milder than traditional peel. Use our using a pen-like, medical hydrodermabrasion device, with a vacuum like tip, the aesthetician will painlessly extract impurities from your skin and pores. Nourishing intensive serums, peptides and antioxidants will be applied to your skin to address skin concerns such as hydration, wrinkles, acne, or hyperpigmentation. The pain-free procedure should last anywhere from 30-60 minutes, depending if on add on treatments are requested.

As part of our complimentary aesthetics and medical spa consultation, we utilize a powerful face scanning machine. It shows damage to the skin and helps us develop a treatment plan to address each client’s customized needs. Schedule your free consultation today!
For long-term results for acne or hyperpigmentation, we recommend a series of 3 to 6 sessions, scheduled 4-6 weeks apart. Depending on skin and other factors, we may suggest more or less Hydrofacials to address skin concerns. To promote longer lasting effects of these potent facials, experts recommend incorporating them into your regular skin care routine, which is dependent on skin types (and other factors). Speak with your aesthetician on scheduling recommendations for your individual needs. Determining when the best time for you to get your Hydrofacial treatments is wise and can also be affected by seasons or events.
How is a Hydrofacial different compared to microneedling or microdermabrasion?
Little to no downtime is needed after a Hydrofacial. You can get on with your life with increased confidence and a radiant complexion immediately. It is recommended that you avoid direct sun exposure for 48 hours. Otherwise, you can resume your normal routine and even wear makeup the following morning.

You can enjoy those results for up to seven days post procedure, if you follow the skin care regime suggested by your aesthetician. We carry a full line of medical grade, high quality skin care products to sustain your outer beauty and amazing results.
Hydrofacials can be combined very effectively with procedures to focus on a variety of skin concerns to achieve more effective and enhanced results.
